We have the most extensive selection of kayaks on display in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts featuring Heritage, Hobie, Impex, Ocean Kayak, Old Town, P&H,  Wave Sport, and Wilderness Systems kayaks.

We have divided our boats into four main categories:

Recreational: Kayaks usually 10 to 12 feet in length and used primarily  for flat-water paddling with relatively limited exposure to wind and current. These kayaks are very stable and easy to  maneuver. Recreational kayaks are designed with the beginner in mind and for activities such as fishing, diving, or just simply relaxing on the water.

Light Touring: These kayaks are 12 to 15 feet and designed for moderate ocean conditions. Typically these boats feature a good balance of speed and stability. Light touring kayaks can be used in the most versatile paddling conditions.

Touring Kayaks: Touring kayaks are usually  longer than 15 feet. These kayaks are built to move very efficiently through the water and to cover a large distance. The cockpit of a touring kayak fits the paddler's body to achieve maximum control and performance.

Sit-On-Top Kayaks: Sit-on-top kayaks do not have cockpits. Instead paddlers sit on top of the boat. Without a cockpit, sit-on-tops make it easy to get on and off the kayak. You sit on it, you fall off, you jump back on. Sit-on-tops usually provide a wetter ride than closed deck kayaks, yet they make paddling easy and accessible. Great for beginner paddlers, kids, and fishermen looking for a kayak that is easy to cast from.
