INTRO. TO REC. KAYAKING

This lesson is specifically designed for those of you who own or are interested in recreational kayaks (generally 12 feet or less in length).  While the same techniques are used in these boats as in other kayaks, sometimes the recreational kayaks respond slightly differently.  We will start by learning some techniques to enter your boat from land effectively, and then cover six basic strokes that will help you move your kayak through the water smoothly and efficiently.
