The Sakonnet Boathouse firstd its doors for business in the spring of 1994 and has been providing kayaking education, responsibility and adventure ever since. David and Susan Stewart felt that everyone of all ages would love cruising on the water in a sea kayak as much as they did and every year we have reached more and more people. Our customers range from 4 years old to 75 years old and many have reported changes in their lifestyles and attitudes which we find very rewarding. Every year we learn from our experiences and we have put together a stellar staff of kayak enthusiasts along with the very best of ACA-trained instructors. We offer a comprehensive selection of kayaks and a wide range of kayak accessories/ necessities that is unparalleled anywhere in our area. Many of our products have won national awards, the manufacturers have won awards for innovation and we have been recognized for our efforts on their behalf.
