Touring Company provides both half- day
and full-day guided tours and expeditions on Narragansett Bay for groups and individuals
from beginner to expert. Trips are designed by certified tour guides, and routes are
tailored to fit your kayaking ability and to show you the sights you want to see. With
your tour guide's help, you choose from dozens of trips...you can explore the islands of
Bluebell Cove, watch ospreys dive for fish along the Westport River, meet the quahogging
fleet in Mount Hope Bay, take in the waterfront homes of Bristol, or paddle up the
beautiful Kickemuit River. Sakonnet Boathouse encourages first-time paddlers to discover
the excitement of kayaking on Narragansett bay. We provide all the top-quality kayaking
equipment you will need for a safe and comfortable expedition, including a variety of
single and double sea kayaks. Just bring your camera, sun-glasses, and a taste for outdoor

Sea Kayaking 101 Tour
A great introduction to sea kayaking. Learn the
basic strokes and safety skills to get you out on the water. We cruise through the
Tiverton Basin and protected Blue Bell Cove. 3 hrs of fun – no experience necessary.

Seapowet Salt Marshes Tour
We paddle along the Sakonnet River exploring Emily
Rueker Wildlife Refuge and Seapowet Marsh Wildlife Preserve. A wonderful trip for viewing
waterfowl and the delicate salt marsh ecosystem. Cost -$60.00

Sakonnet River Tour
A half or full day paddling
adventure awaits on the scenic and unspoiled Sakonnet River. Explore the coastline of
Nannaquaket Neck, cross out to Gould Island, meander through protected salt marshes and
ride the swells along this classic New England landscape.

The Boathouse offers a wide selection of rental kayaks from sit on top
singles and recreational doubles to single sea kayaks.

Vehicles must have appropriate rack
All rentals include PFD & paddle. Sea Kayak rentals also include
sprayskirt, paddlefloat and bilge pump. For safety considerations the
Boathouse does not rent to solo paddlers so bring a friend or paddling
partner.
*SBH Sea Kayak rental card required for rental of single sea kayaks.
